Site description

Sunnyside Cogeneration Associates owns and operates the Sunnyside Cogeneration Facility, a 53 MW power plant that is located in Carbon County, Utah. The plant, which burns waste coal, began operating in 1993. The SCA #2 Ash Landfill, located southeast of the facility, is regulated under the CCR rule.
